My oldest stepdaughter, at age 11 had done the same thing about "I have my own brain to make my own decisions". Then when my husband went for his parenting time, the kids refused to open the door because they were told he might be angry at them. (I was there when they called their Mom and refused to answer the door.) In reality the mother wanted to be the center of attention, in control and to have their own "family meeting" because she heard we were doing them for the kids on his MINIMAL parenting time. His ex wife also was the one who wanted the divorce, we were having family meetings to figure out how a blended family could benefit everyone involved, mostly addressing any of the concerns she kept saying the girls had with us. She also stopped going to family systems therapy to help boundary the 2 households. Narcissists always quit therapy because they do not believe there's anything wrong with them when they refuse to be accountable for their actions, they have an inability to self-reflect. My oldest Stepdaughter was always put in the middle and she kept asking to be kept out of it by her child therapist. I heard it loud and clear, 💔I'm just sorry I couldn't have been able to protect them more from this type of abuse, but I am an alienated mom, stepmom & aunt too. Funny how they just won't tell you it's a Mormon run city ,much like Scientology in Clearwater Fla. The police are all Mormons, the justice system the whole city is owned by Mormons. And they protect their own. Look how they let Lori Daybell go when it was totally obvious she was involved in all of those deaths. I think they told her to get out of town because it didn't look god for her. And didn't look good on the Gilbert Mormon Community. Mormons are involved in drug trafficking and I'm guessing that's one of the hubs.

Criminal complaint for kidnapping (code violation)- injured party is we the people- no man or woman has been harmed. The kids were in mental and psychological danger- that manifested in their body- losing hair, horrible periods, insomnia, panic attacks, toxic shame- where they would have triggers daily! Had to be homeschooled- all can be verified- plus 2 police reports for when the 15 yr old called the cops on her dad for yelling at her and grabbed her cell phone locked her in her room and mocked her to call the police I need help

Thank you, Billie, for interviewing Madi to help spread awareness of this horrific form of abuse. Unfortunately, it's something you can't completely understand through textbooks. Hopefully this will spur attorneys, courts, therapists, child services, law enforcement, etc to understand this abuse as much as possible to help save children from it. There is no amount of co-parenting happening by the alienator, and as long as no one stops their abuse or makes them follow court orders, the alienator will continue to ramp up the abuse (even after age 18). Sadly, Madi's alienation is more common than we realize. At 25:00, you mention alienators truly believe they are doing what they think is right. I am not convinced of that. For example, Mental Healness claims these personality types will blow themselves up before they will do anything that looks like they are admitting they did anything wrong, even the smallest thing. And this conforms to my experience....they know their actions aren't the best, but they aren't about to change...even to help their own children. Instead they increase the raging, threats and lies to manipulate. And on the rare occasion this tactic doesn't work, they make up lies and twist excuses to their 'followers' so they are the victim. Thank you again to both of you for your great efforts in bringing light to this subject!

What can be done if the other parent doesn’t arrive after that hour, are we able to just keep the child? Because sometimes some parents think they can just come whenever and they demand to jump up and drop what you’re doing to go meet to exchange and threaten with trying to say that we are withholding the children .

This is the road my wife is choosing for our son. For over a year she has been taking our son away from me, sometimes for over a month at a time, for verbal arguments, or even because of where I attend church. I was served with a DVRO and she told over a dozen lies to have it granted. I used to wake up and hear her badmouth me over the phone to my family, telling them that I am an abuser, only to find out our son was right there in the room listening to all of it. I weep for him. Lord have mercy.

Unfortunately apps like OFW only work if the courts enforce their orders. In my case they don't unless it is me that is breaking the order. ~Hugs~

While I'm sure there is probably more to the story, there is something truly annoying about how custody arrangements get made sometimes. I've heard from more than a few single moms who were trapped in unaffordable housing with few options within the allowed range to move, women whose family and support systems were hundreds of miles away with no way to access them due to the custody arrangements, etc. It didn't seem to matter if the other parent had no interest in being a parent; they were still stuck by court order in a location that just didn't work. I can't imagine trying to navigate through the mess that is divorce in the military, since people are given very little choice in where or when they relocate. So while I'm sure this person isn't telling everything, I can easily believe that it's an absolute disaster trying to navigate moving in the military with child custody orders. It's a disaster when the military isn't involved.

There is another side to this story but she is not going to tell you that part.
